Elementary (CBS, Sunday 10-11 p.m.) A modern-day take on the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes. The drama features a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD’s toughest cases. Renewed for season 5.

NEW The Good Wife Spinoff (CBS All Access, spring 2017) Christine Baranski who will reprise her role as Diane Lockhart, the role which earned her six Emmy Award nominations. Baranski will be joined by Cush Jumbo as Lucca Quinn, along with the introduction of new characters as the story evolves.

NEW The Great Indoors (CBS, Thursday 8:30-9 p.m. from October) Stars Joel McHale in a comedy about a renowned adventure reporter for an outdoor magazine who must adapt to the times when he becomes the desk-bound boss to a group of millennials in the digital department of the publication. Hawaii Five-0 (CBS, Friday 9-10 p.m.) A contemporary take on the classic series about a new elite federalized task force whose mission is to wipe out the crime that washes up on the Islands' sun-drenched beaches. Renewed for season 7.

Jane the Virgin (The CW, Monday 9-10 p.m.) Wholesome Jane Villaneuva is accidentally artificially inseminated and her life suddenly becomes as dramatic and complicated as the telenovelas she has always loved. Renewed for season 3.

NEW MacGyver (CBS, Friday 8-9 p.m.) An action-adventure drama about 20-something Angus “Mac” MacGyver, who creates a clandestine organization within the U.S. government where he uses his extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving and vast scientific knowledge to save lives. WATCH CLIP

Madam Secretary (CBS, Sunday 9-10 p.m.) Elizabeth McCord is a shrewd, determined Secretary of State who drives international diplomacy, battles office politics and circumvents protocol as she negotiates global and domestic issues, both at the White House and at home. Renewed for season 3.

NEW Man with a Plan (CBS, Monday 8:30-9 p.m. from October) A comedy about a contractor who starts spending more time with his kids when his wife goes back to work and discovers the truth every parent eventually realizes: their little angels are maniacs. WATCH CLIP

NCIS (CBS, Tuesday 8-9 p.m.) With liberal doses of humor, it's a show that focuses on the sometimes complex and always amusing dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations, within the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Renewed for season 14.

NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS, Sunday 8-9 p.m.) A drama about the high stakes world of undercover surveillance at the Office of Special Projects (OSP), a division of NCIS that is charged with apprehending dangerous and elusive criminals that pose a threat to the nation's security. Renewed for season 8.

NCIS: New Orleans (CBS, Tuesday 10-11 p.m.) A drama about the local field office that investigates criminal cases affecting military personnel in the Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment and decadence. Renewed for season 3.

NEW No Tomorrow (The CW, Tuesday 9-10 p.m.) Based on the International Emmy-nominated Brazilian format from Globo, a romantic comedy with the ultimate ticking clock. WATCH CLIP

The Odd Couple (CBS, Monday 9:30-10 p.m.) Oscar Madison and Felix Unger are former college buddies who become unlikely roommates after the demise of their marriages. Renewed for season 3.

NEW Star Trek (CBS All Access, January 2017) The new Star Trek, produced by CBS Television Studios, will launch with a special preview broadcast on the CBS Television Network in January 2017. The premiere episode and all subsequent first-run episodes will then be available exclusively in the United States on CBS All Access. WATCH CLIP
